The former Hoylake Lifeboat Station is a well known landmark on the Wirral having served as a lifeboat station for over 200 years. Although the building has been extended in the past fifty years the original crenellated tower and decorative brickwork still stand opposite the slipway signifying its maritime importance and long seafaring past.  The building is two storey and enjoys breath taking views over the Dee estuary and the Irish sea.

We understand the building is not listed and is around 3,600 sq feet in size.  No formal planning applications have been submitted to Wirral Borough Council although we understand Matthew Myers (Architect) [email protected] has spoken on an informal basis to the planning department.  Both Commercial use, restaurant, office, child care and residential use will be viewed favourably as it is important to breathe life back into this very important local landmark.

Please note, the land to the right of the Lifeboat Station is owned by Wirral Borough Council and is not included within the sale.

The property is situated on North Parade in Hoylake overlooking the Dee Estuary to the left and the Irish Sea and Liverpool to the right
