All bidders need to register with Venmore Auctions in order to be able to bid on any of the online properties. This registration process is to verify your identity, to do so you need to print out and complete the Online Bidders Registration Form and return to Venmore Auctions signed and dated together with two forms of identification
Once a bidder is registered they will receive a User name and password and will be able log in and search for properties which suit their needs and requirements.
We recommend all bidders view the property they wish to bid on and can do so by contacting Venmore Auction via email or on 0151 236 6746
If you are interested in a property we advise that you read through the Legal Pack and Home Information Pack (where applicable). These packs can be downloaded from the website or alternatively a hard copy can be obtained from Venmore Auctions subject to a charge of £10.00.
The bidding increments will be set by Venmore Auctions, however if a bidder wishes to make a bid above the next increment they may do so
Once a bidder has placed a bid they will have to agree to the Terms and Conditions for Bidders at an online auction, thereby giving Venmore Auctions the authority to sign and exchange contracts on their behalf
Once a bid has been made in cannot be retracted and we advise all bidders to check their bid carefully before submitting it.
As soon as the auction has finished and the property is sold a legally binding agreement is formed in accordance with the RICS Common Auction Conditions (Edition 3) between the winning bidder and the seller at the final bid price (as long as this price is equal to or above the reserve). At this point exchange of contracts will take place, with Venmore Auctions having full authority to sign the contract on behalf of the winning bidder and a 10% deposit (minimum £2,000) becomes payable to Venmore Auctions within 24 hours of the auction ending.
Standard completion is 28 days (or such other period as clearly specified by the seller in the special conditions of sale) commencing from the end of the auction.
If the highest bid does not meet the reserve price then the property will be marked as unsold.
Important notes to Bidders
